Reading Month Information
As always, Reading Month is one of our most exciting months at BIS. In participation with the annual “Read Across America” celebration and in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, students at BIS will be participating in Reading Month during March! There will be a month long reading contest and special activities each week. On these special days, students may dress like the theme for the week!
Please be mindful of the School Dress Code: No sleeveless shirts, see-through shirts, or shirts that show the stomach or undergarments. No short shorts or short skirts. No ripped or tight clothing. No clothing with profanity, drug or alcohol related messages, or other inappropriate messages or symbols (See the Parent-Student Handbook).
Students may NOT simply wear casual clothes that don’t represent the theme day or students will be sent home to change and return to school.
